DAYLONG RETREAT: Yoga, Dharma and Rest with Sarah Clark & Margi Young

During our day of practice, we will anchor attention in the body to better know the nature of the mind. From there we can orient our lives towards personal and collective freedom in our ever changing landscape. As with all retreats the aim is to emerge more clearly aligned with our values.

Over the course of the day, we will meet as a group four times. The times listed below are PDT:

Meeting schedule:

  • 7-8am: intention setting and meditation

    • 10-12pm morning asana (2 groups: gentle OR vigorous)

  • 2-3:30pm dharma, discussion and meditation

  • 4-5:00pm restorative yoga

You will be invited to not only attend the live zoom sessions, but to create a retreat container to maximize the benefit. We encourage you to create some clear boundaries throughout this day to protect your time & space and help rest, reflect & restore between our group sessions.

Some recommendations: 

  • Prepare nutritious meals a day or two in advance.

  • If there are people in your pod, we suggest you let them know in advance that you will be "on retreat."  Communicating this with clarity gives them the chance to support you. Please reach out to us if you need more support here.

  • Seek out as much child and pet care as possible.

  • On Friday make a practice space that feels sweet. Clean out the dust bunnies, wash your yoga props, gather some flowers, a candle or anything else that will make your space feel calming.

  • Keep plenty of water on hand.
