Hosted by Triyoga online
Along with the primary diaphragm that is used in respiration, the body has other diaphragms that all work in harmony. When we bring attention to these diaphragms through alignment in yoga, there can be more freedom and ease in the body and breath as well as renewed energy in your poses.
The three main diaphragms—pelvic, respiratory, and laryngeal—stack like a vertical row of jellyfish and move in harmony. When one is tight or misaligned, the others react. When they align and work synchronistically, prana moves more freely, resulting in clarity of body and mind.
This workshop will include a complete yoga practice with poses, breathwork, and meditation. We’ll engage in self-inquiry and anatomy, with a mix of information from the ancient yogis and modern science. Please join Margi to pull your mind deep into the domes of your body and emerge with a new way to experience clear alignment, on and off the yoga mat.
