Do you have a gut reaction to the name of this workshop? If so, chances are your vagus nerve is transmitting information from the viscera in your belly to your brain giving you the green or red light. This 10th cranial nerve serves as a superhighway for information and is also a direct line to the parasympathetic nervous system—so you will feel calmer if you stimulate it.
In this workshop, we will practice proven methods to activate the vagus nerve, giving your nervous system a well needed break. We will also open the rib cage to create more space for the lungs and heart, paving the way for fuller breathing and gentle but profound pranayama. We’ll end our session with a seated meditation.
Margi teaches with infectious joy, imagery, and clarity. In this workshop, she’ll offer insights into awakening our compassion and cultivating ease and kindness as we walk through the world.
